We invite you and your family to be part of Child Dedication Sunday on Sunday, May 10 at 10:00 AM. This is a beautiful moment in our church life when parents commit to raising their children in a Christ-centered home, and our congregation pledges to support them with love, prayer, and encouragement.

📍 Location: Patterson Grove Baptist Church 301 Oak Grove Road Kings Mountain, NC

During this special service, families will stand before the church to dedicate their children to the Lord, acknowledging God’s gift and expressing their desire to lead their children in faith. It’s a joyful and meaningful milestone for parents, children, and our entire church family.

Parent Commissioning Sunday

Child Dedication Sunday is also Parent Commissioning Sunday, where we affirm and commission parents as the primary spiritual guides in their child’s life. Parents will commit to:

• Raising their child in a home that loves and follows Jesus

• Modeling a life of faith and prayer

• Regularly bringing their child to corporate worship

• Engaging in church events and ministries that help their child come to know and follow Jesus

As a church, we will stand with these families, promising to walk alongside them as they nurture the next generation in Christ.
