Join us for a small group this Spring. Our launch night is Sunday night February 2 at 5:30pm at Patterson Grove Baptist Church. Here's a few of the offerings we’ll have:
- Women’s Small Group - Studying “Be Who God Created You To Be” by Russ Bradley
- Men’s Small Group - Studying “Matthew: The Arrival of the King” by David Jeremiah
- Youth - Having Pizza Rolls and Chicken Nuggets on launch night.
- Children - Children are looking at what it means to serve others on mission.

Youth and Children don’t have to register. Men and Women joining an adult small group need to register so we have the correct number of books.

Join us for worship on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on January 26th at 10am at Patterson Grove Baptist Church. We will look at Psalm 139 and see how God values all life.

Our next Baptism Sunday will be held on Sunday January 19th, 2025. They say that spiritual growth happens in circles much more effectively than in rows. That’s one of the reasons we believe in small groups. - Uninvited - A study by Lysa TerKeurst lead by Brenda Ferreira.
- Kingdom Man - A study by Tony Evans lead by Sonny Barts.
- 5 Love Language - A study by Gary Chapman lead by Glenn and Vickie Hicks.

Parents/Students, We need your help inviting your teacher(s) to Teacher Appreciation Sunday on Sunday September 8th at 10am. With the start of school, we want to pause in September to thank, pray for, and celebrate the teachers in our community.

Pickup an invite in the church office or at worship next Sunday. Students in higher grades may want to pickup 3-5 invites.

Tips:

- Write a personal note on each invite.

- Consider giving your teacher a little gift.

- Plan to sit with your teacher that Sunday.

- Take a selfie with your teacher.

- Share this post online to remind other parents, students, or grandparents.

Begin praying for your teacher(s) now. They do so much to serve students and we believe it’s critical that we thank, pray for, and celebrate them.

Note: Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Librarians, Administrators, Bus Drivers, etc are all welcome.

Important:
- Anyone can serve with you. Feel free to bring friends.
- Be sure to register so we know how many people to expect.
- Supplies like pine needles and paint will be provided. Make sure to bring your own gloves, wear sun screen, and bring water.

Here’s the 3 projects you can sign-up for:

1) Serve North Elementary :: Sunday Aug 4th at 1pm —> We’ll work on a landscaping project at North to help staff get ready for the year and to welcome students and families as they return!

2) Serve Bethware Elementary :: Monday Aug 5th at 1pm —> Landscaping, painting, and maybe some window washing to serve the Bethware staff, kids, and families.

3) Serve the Servants :: Bring some needed supplies to worship Sunday to help the teams as they go out to serve.

Join our senior adults for our Senior Adult Summer Cookout on Wednesday, June 19th at 12:30pm. It will be held at Glenn and Vickie Hicks home at 406 Oak Grove Road in Kings Mountain.

We will have hot dogs, hamburgers, and chili to eat. Play a few games of corn hole or horseshoes with us.

Get to know our previous pastor, see family and friends, and celebrate what God has done throughout the history of Patterson Grove Baptist Church. Join us for Homecoming Sunday on June 2, 2024 at 10am. There will be special music for all ages, lots of new faces, Pastor Tim Hendrick is returning as our guest speaker, and we will have a covered dish lunch after the service in the Family Life Center.

Attention Senior Adults, Join us for a trip to the Daniel Boone Inn in Boone, NC on Wednesday May 15th at 8:45 am. We will enjoy lunch, a visit to the Mast General Store, and also visit with one of our missionaries visiting home from the Middle East. All senior adults are welcome to go with us to Strawberry Hill USA in Gaffney, SC. Meet at the church at 10:15am and leave at 10:30am. We will have lunch and homemade ice cream.

We are getting excited for our Spring Deacon & Church Leadership Training! Dr. Iorg from Gateway Seminary in California will be joining us again to speak about Leading Major Change in a church.

Join us for Fill The Tank Sunday (ie Baptism Sunday) on April 7th, 2024. All are welcome to celebrate those who have recently professed faith in Jesus as they take a step of obedience to get baptized by immersion in water.

Join us for the EASTER FEASTER Youth Camp Fundraiser to be held on March 23rd at 6pm at Patterson Grove Baptist Church in the gym. Our Middle School and High School students will serve prepare and serve food that night to you and your friends. We also have some special relaxing Christian music planned by a high school student.

You’ll get a chance to meet others who are new to the church, meet the pastor, learn about the church’s beliefs, ask questions, and much more. Join us for the Lasagna Fellowship Supper at Patterson Grove on February 7th at 6:30pm. This supper is to support children going to summer camp. Advances tickets are required for food planning. To purchase your tickets, click here.

The students of Patterson Grove will be going to Winter Jam 2024 on January 28th, 2024. Drop off your student at Patterson Grove at 1pm and we’ll return by 11pm after the concert is over. Cost is $15 for the concert AND $15 for dinner. To reserve your spot on the bus, click here.

Sunday Night Groups will start back up on January 7th at 5:30pm (note the change in time). We will begin this January at 5:30pm and go until 7pm for all groups and ages (including youth and children).

- I Am A Church Member by Thom Rainer (Taught by Pastor Brad)
- Foundations by David Platt
- Grow Groups by Patterson Grove Leaders

Note: Childcare will be provided for pre-K and age specific activities for elementary children. Our youth group (grades 6-12) also meets during this time which makes Sunday night an accessible time for the whole family!
