Our Senior Adults are invited to join us for a special outing on Wednesday, February 18 at 12:00 PM. We’ll be heading to Jackson’s Cafeteria in Gastonia, NC to enjoy a great meal and a time of fellowship together.

This fall, Patterson Grove Baptist Church is excited to launch our small group season, offering transformative studies to deepen your faith, finances, and purpose! Register Online to join one of our three adult small groups starting Sunday September 14th at 5:30pm.

•  33 :: Biblical Manhood – A Bible study for men exploring God’s design for men and their work. Through video teachings and discussions, men will find purpose with God’s calling and engage with passion and integrity.

•  Financial Peace University – Dave Ramsey’s course equips you with biblical money management principles to eliminate debt and build wealth. Weekly videos, discussions, and tools like EveryDollar guide you in budgeting, saving, and investing.

•  Patterned – Developed by NC Baptists, this study equips Christians for disciple-making per the Great Commission. Weekly videos and questions cover evangelism, Bible study, testimonies, gospel conversations, and fostering transformation.

For our younger members, we’re thrilled to offer engaging programs every Sunday night at 5:30pm during small group sessions:

•  Youth Group: The youth will participate in a study called “Leverage Your Life” by Vance Pitman of the North American Mission Board. They will not only study God’s word and pray as youth but also have a notebook to take home and work on individually and with their parents.

•  Children’s Ministry: Fun, age-appropriate lessons and crafts to teach kids about Jesus.

•  Nursery: Loving care for infants and toddlers in a safe, nurturing environment.

We invite you to Homecoming Sunday on June 8, 2025. Homecoming is a Sunday where we do a few things that are different from a normal Sunday:

- We remember those that we’ve lost during the last year who have gone to their true home to be with the Lord in Heaven. As much as we live in a home and love the city of Kings Mountain, as believers in Jesus, this is not our home. Our home is with Jesus in Heaven and one day we will all join those who have already passed.

- We welcome back to Patterson Grove those that grew up in the church and have moved away. Many people have children that now live in Gastonia, Cherryville, Charlotte, Shelby, or other cities and this Sunday is a chance for us to welcome them back.

- We enjoy a covered dish lunch after the service in the Family Life Center (ie the gym). Each family is asked to bring enough food for their family plus a little extra to bless another family. There is no cost and those who aren’t able or forget to bring food are 100% welcome to join us. If you are a first time guest, we have no expectation of you to bring anything. We are just glad you are here.

Everybody can commit to 40 days to a healthier you.)

We invite your children to be part of Monday Meet-Ups…a Summer 2025 Kid’s Weekly Discipleship Plan—an exciting and safe opportunity for kids to grow in their relationship with Christ while making new friends and enjoying active play!

Faith, Fun, and Fellowship

Throughout the summer, we will meet Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the Family Life Center (FLC). With 12 weeks of connection and discipleship (excluding June 16 due to VBS), this program is designed to strengthen relationships with current students and welcome new children into an uplifting community.

Engaging Bible Lessons

Each gathering will begin with an interactive Bible study, focused on “Kid’s Travel Guide to the Lord’s Prayer”—an engaging curriculum designed to help children understand and practice prayer as a spiritual discipline. These age-appropriate lessons will provide a strong foundation for faith while making Scripture accessible and meaningful for young hearts.

Active & Fun Play

After our lesson, kids will enjoy structured recreation time, including indoor and outdoor games for all energy levels! Whether your child loves sports, group activities, or quieter games like cards and brain challenges, there’s something for everyone. Through fun and teamwork, students will build friendships and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Supervision & Safety

Your child’s well-being is our priority! Clay and Hannah Hastings, alongside additional approved leaders, will ensure a secure and welcoming space for all participants. Our team is dedicated to making every child feel valued and loved, with guidance rooted in Christ-centered care.

Who Can Join?

This event is open to children in grades K-5, and we encourage PGBC students to bring friends and family! Spread the word through church announcements and social media to invite more young hearts into this faith-filled adventure.

3rd-5th graders, Join us August 5-8 at Look Up Lodge where we'll have a great week of fun, food, and faith. We are asking that everyone planning to go register and pay their $50 deposit by April 1. If participating in the fundraiser, your final total should come down quite a bit.
